Gameplay
4+ Players 👥
4-6 Minutes ⏱️
What You’ll Need
A computer or tablet connected to a screen/projector
A slideshow of zoomed-in images (common items, foods, animals, etc.)
A buzzer (optional) or just use hand-raising
Setup
Prepare a slideshow with at least 10–15 zoomed-in photos. You can find free ones online or crop them yourself.
Test the slideshow to make sure it works and is visible to everyone in the room.
Divide the group into teams or have individuals compete.
How to Play
Show the first image: Display a zoomed-in photo on the screen.
Take guesses: Let players guess what the image is. You can have them raise hands or buzz in.
Reveal answer: After 2–3 guesses or 30 seconds, reveal the full image.
Score points: Award points to correct answers or to the closest guess.
Continue: Move to the next image and repeat until the slideshow ends.
Celebrate the winners: The player or team with the most correct guesses wins.
Say Something Like
"Alright everyone — time to put your eyes to the test! These are extreme close-ups of things you’ve probably seen a hundred times… but they look wild when you zoom in! Let’s see who’s got the sharpest eye!"
Variations
Theme It: Use only Bible-related items or camp-themed objects.
Extreme Round: Use blurry zoom-ins for a bonus round.
Reverse Guess: Show the full item and have players guess what zoomed-in section you’ll show.
Discipleship Teaching Points
Sometimes we don’t see the big picture of what God is doing until we step back. This game is a fun reminder that clarity often comes with perspective. (1 Corinthians 13:12)
Secular Teaching Points
Encourages observational thinking, focus, and memory recall. It’s also a great warm-up for visual learners and helps sharpen group communication.
