What You’ll Need
Blank sheets of paper (one per player)
1 ink pen (just one!)
Setup
Give each player a blank sheet of paper.
Place the single ink pen and dice in the center.
Make sure everyone’s within easy reach to pass papers quickly — trust me, it’ll matter.
How to Play
Roll the dice.
Have players take turns rolling both dice.Start writing when you roll a 7.
The first player to roll a seven grabs the pen and starts writing numbers on their page: 1, 2, 3… all the way to 100.Steal the pen on a 7.
If someone else rolls a seven, they call out, grab the pen from the current writer, and start writing on their own paper.Pass left on doubles.
If anyone rolls doubles, everyone passes their paper to the left.
The person who was writing simply keeps going on the new paper they just received, picking up where the last number left off on that paper.Win the race.
The first player whose paper reaches 100 wins!
Say Something Like
“Alright, folks — dice ready, pen in the middle! Your mission is simple: write to 100. The problem? You don’t always get to keep your own paper… or the pen. Roll a seven to write, doubles to pass, and hold on tight. Let’s see whose paper reaches 100 first!”
Variations
Blitz Mode: Use two pens for larger groups. Twice the chaos, twice the fun.
Silent Game: No talking allowed — you may only gesture when stealing the pen.
Reverse Doubles: Instead of passing left on doubles, pass right.

This game reinforces endurance and adaptability — things change fast, and you must keep going even when life hands you a new “paper.” Reference: James 1:3–4.
