Gameplay

  • 6+ Players 👥

  • 3-5 Minutes ⏱️

What You’ll Need

  • Cones or markers for turning points (optional)

  • Open space for racing

Setup

  • Divide players into pairs.

  • Mark a start and finish line, or create a turn-around point.

How to Play

  • Pair Up Players – One player gets down on hands and knees; the other grabs their ankles, holding their legs off the ground.

  • Start the Race – On “Go,” the teams race toward the turnaround point and back. The player on hands must “walk” using only their arms while their partner holds their legs like a wheelbarrow.

  • Switch at Halfway (optional) – For a longer race, have teams switch roles at the halfway point.

  • Declare a Winner – The first team to complete the full course wins!

Say Something Like
“Ever wanted to become a wheelbarrow? Today’s your day! Grab a partner, line up, and get ready to wheel your way to victory!”

Variations

  • Blindfold Driver – The “wheelbarrow” wears a blindfold and the partner must give verbal directions.

  • Obstacle Course – Add cones, turns, or small objects to crawl around.

Discipleship Teaching Points
Just like in this game, we all need help sometimes. Working together in unity strengthens the body of Christ (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
