Steal the Bacon

Gameplay

• 6+ Players 👥

• 4-7 Minutes ⏱️

What You’ll Need

• One soft object to serve as the “bacon” (e.g., beanbag, ball, towel)

• A large open space

• Cones or tape to mark starting lines (optional)

Setup

• Divide players into two equal teams.

• Have each team line up on opposite sides of the play area.

• Place the “bacon” in the center between the two lines.

• Number off each player on both teams so each side has a 1, 2, 3, etc., matching numbers.

How to Play

• Call a Number – The facilitator calls out a number. The player with that number from each team runs to the center to grab the bacon.

• Grab and Go – The goal is to grab the bacon and return to your team’s line without being tagged by the opponent.

• Tagging Rules – If a player grabs the bacon and is tagged before reaching their line, the opposing team scores. If they make it safely back, their team scores.

• Add Multiple Numbers – Call multiple numbers at once for more chaos and fun.

• Winning – First team to a set number of points (e.g., 5 or 10) wins.

Say Something Like
"Who’s got the speed? Who’s got the smarts? Let’s see who can bring home the bacon for their team!"

Variations

• Steal the Double Bacon – Use two objects in the center and call out two numbers at once!

• Silent Bacon – No running or shouting. Players must sneak silently to steal the bacon.

• Team Strategy Mode – Let teams huddle before each round to plan distractions or feints.
