Gameplay

  • 8+ Players 👥

  • 5-8 Minutes ⏱️

What You’ll Need

Setup

  • Create two base zones on opposite ends of your play space—these are the safe zones for each team.

  • Place one squirt gun in the middle between the two zones.

  • Divide players into two teams. Select one blindfolded crawler per round from each team.

  • Teammates remain at their base and may not physically guide the crawler.

How to Play

  • Blindfold the crawlers. Have one from each team start at their team’s safe zone.

  • Mix it up. Once players are blindfolded, move the squirt gun slightly to prevent memorization.

  • Shout directions. Teams yell out commands to guide their blindfolded player toward the squirt gun.

  • Get the squirt gun. First to reach it can squirt—but only if the opponent hasn’t made it back to their safe zone.

  • Score a point. If the squirted player hasn’t reached safety, the shooter’s team earns a point.

  • Rotate players. Switch blindfolded participants each round to keep everyone involved.

Say Something Like
"Alright teams! Choose your first brave crawler and blindfold them up. Your job is to shout directions and help them find the squirt gun in the middle of the arena. But remember—they can only win a point if they squirt the other team before that player crawls back to safety!"

Variations

  • Silent Strategy – Players can only shout one word at a time (e.g., "left," "crawl," etc.).

  • Obstacle Mayhem – Add soft obstacles or cones to make the crawl path more difficult.

  • Squirt Squad – Use two squirt guns and have a free-for-all among four blindfolded players.

Discipleship Teaching Points
Trusting the voice of someone you can’t see mirrors our walk with God—we must learn to listen closely and obey even when we don’t understand.
📖 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7

Secular Teaching Points
This game builds communication, teamwork, and trust under pressure. Players must learn to listen carefully and act confidently, even without visual cues.
