5+ Players 👥
3-5 Minutes ⏱️
What You’ll Need
Pairs of rolled-up socks (1 per player)
Plastic cups (1 per player)
Tape to mark the starting line and cup placement
Setup
Set a starting line on the floor using tape.
Place one plastic cup per player about 10 feet away from the starting line.
How to Play
Line up the players behind the starting line, each holding a pair of rolled socks.
Slide the socks: On “Go,” players must slide their socks toward the cups, trying to land them inside.
Scoring: First to land socks in their cup wins, or award points for each sock in a cup if playing multiple rounds.
Repeat or rotate players to keep everyone engaged.
Say Something Like
“Alright racers, grab your socks and get ready to slide! First person to sock a cup wins bragging rights and some serious applause!”
Variations
Sock Bombs: Add obstacles in the path to make it trickier.
Team Cup Chaos: Each team gets one cup and multiple socks—most socks in the cup wins!
Discipleship Teaching Points

Secular Teaching Points
Encourages focus, hand-eye coordination, and perseverance—even if you miss the cup the first time, try again!
