Gameplay
8+ Players 👥
4-7 Minutes ⏱️
What You’ll Need
Cones, tape, or chalk to mark safe zones
Whistle (optional)
Setup
Mark two safe zones about 30–50 feet apart.
Choose a few players to be “foxes” and the rest as “rabbits.”
Rabbits start in one safe zone; foxes spread out between the two zones.
How to Play
Call the chase: The leader yells “Run rabbit run!” and the rabbits must run to the other safe zone without getting tagged.
Tagging: Foxes try to tag rabbits before they reach safety.
Switch roles: Any rabbit who is tagged becomes a fox for the next round.
Repeat: Keep going until only one rabbit remains.
Say Something Like
“Foxes, get ready… Rabbits, are you quick enough to make it? Let’s find out! Ready? Run rabbit run!”
Variations
Reverse Roles: Switch rabbits and foxes halfway through the game.
Safe Zone Shrink: Gradually make the safe zones smaller for more challenge.
Discipleship Teaching Points
Just like the rabbits must be quick to run to safety, we should be quick to run to God when trouble comes. Proverbs 18:10 — “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”
Secular Teaching Points
Encourages quick thinking under pressure. Builds spatial awareness and agility.
