What You’ll Need
A ripe (but not mushy) banana
Chairs (optional, for lining up teams)
Cones or markers to define start/finish lines (optional)
Setup
Divide players into even teams.
Have each team line up single file.
Give the first person in each line a banana — they hold it under their chin.
How to Play
Hold banana under chin – The first player starts with the banana tucked under their chin (no hands).
Pass without hands – The goal is to pass the banana from person to person using only necks and chins. No hands allowed!
If it drops, restart – If the banana falls, that pair must pick it up (with hands), return to the previous person in line, and try again.
First team to finish wins – The first team to successfully pass the banana down the line and back (or to the last person, depending on your rules) wins.
Say Something Like
"Let’s see how well you work together when things get slippery! Get in line, no hands allowed, and prepare to pass this banana like your team’s victory depends on it — because it does!"
Variations
Back-to-Back Banana: Try passing the banana back-to-back instead of chin-to-chin.
Frozen Banana Relay: Use frozen bananas for more durability and laughs.
Banana + Obstacle: Add an obstacle course they must pass through while holding the banana under their chin.
