Gameplay

  • 6+ Players 👥

  • 3-5 Minutes ⏱️

What You’ll Need

Setup

  • Place each paper towel roll upright about 4–6 feet apart.

  • Have each player stand behind their own roll with a pool noodle in hand.

How to Play

  • Stand your ground: Each player must stay behind their paper towel roll. No stepping forward!

  • Attack & defend: Players use the pool noodles to swat at the opponent’s roll without knocking over their own.

  • One hand only: Players can only use one hand to swing the noodle.

  • First to fall loses: The first player whose paper towel roll topples loses the round.

  • Run a tournament: Have winners face off in bracket-style play or king-of-the-hill format.

Say Something Like
“Alright, warriors—defend your roll! You’re guarding the last precious paper towel in the building. Don't let the enemy get it!”

Variations

  • Double Trouble: Two teams go at once, with two battles happening side-by-side.

  • Blindfold Bash: Players are blindfolded and guided by teammates’ voice commands.

Discipleship Teaching Points
Just like guarding the paper towel roll, we are called to stand firm in our faith (1 Corinthians 16:13). Staying alert and focused helps us not fall into temptation.

Secular Teaching Points
This game teaches hand-eye coordination, quick thinking, and the importance of defending your “territory” without losing focus.
