Gameplay
8+ Players 👥
5-8 Minutes ⏱️
What You’ll Need
Slips of paper
Pens or pencils
A bowl or hat
Setup
Give each player 3 slips of paper.
Ask them to write the name of a well-known person, character, or celebrity on each slip (real or fictional).
Collect all slips in a bowl and mix them well.
How to Play
Form teams: Divide the group into two teams.
Start the round: One player from Team A has 60 seconds to get their team to guess as many names as possible.
Give clues: They draw one name at a time and describe it without saying the actual name or any rhyming words.
Example: If the name is “Darth Vader,” the player might say, “He wears black and breathes heavily in Star Wars.”
Keep guessing: Their team keeps guessing until they get it right, then the player draws a new slip.
End the turn: After 60 seconds, it’s Team B’s turn.
Finish the bowl: Continue rounds until all names are used.
Tally points: Each correct guess = 1 point.
Repeat for fun: You can play additional rounds using the same names, but with new restrictions:
Round 2: Use only one word as a clue.
Round 3: Act it out silently (charades-style).
Say Something Like
"Okay, let’s see who’s the best at cracking clues! Write down some famous names—real or imaginary—and toss them in the bowl. Once we start, your team has just one minute to guess as many as you can!”
Variations
Character Party: Use only fictional characters.
Bible Edition: Use only Bible characters or people from Christian history.
