Gameplay
10+ Players 👥
8-10 Minutes ⏱️
What You’ll Need
Large playground or gym space
Several playground balls
Cones or markers to set up a “base” area
Setup
Set up a large square or diamond with a base in the middle.
Place all balls in the center base.
Divide players into two teams (or play free-for-all if preferred).
How to Play
Start with chaos: On “go,” players rush to grab balls from the center.
Kick or throw: Players try to kick or throw balls at opponents to get them “out.”
Tag with balls only: No physical tagging—just ball contact below the waist counts.
Out = sidelines: Hit players go to the sidelines until a reset or revival rule is used.
Last player/team standing wins!
Say Something Like
“It’s time for total mayhem! You’re all King Kong, and your goal is to knock out as many opponents as you can while staying alive. Grab a ball and don’t get tagged!”
Variations
Team Mode: Divide into 2–4 teams. Last team with players standing wins.
Revival Zone: Designate a ‘revival corner’ where out players can complete a challenge to return.
Discipleship Teaching Points
Talk about standing strong even when everything feels chaotic around us—like spiritual warfare or peer pressure.
(1 Corinthians 16:13) – “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.”
Secular Teaching Points
Promotes agility, teamwork, and fast reflexes in a high-energy environment.
