Egg Stack: Easter Game

A fun and fast-paced challenge where players test their balancing skills by stacking Easter egg halves as high as they can before time runs out.

Gameplay

  • 4+ Players 👥

  • 2-3 Minutes ⏱️

What You’ll Need

  • Plastic Easter eggs (separated into halves)

  • Flat surface (like a table or floor)

  • Timer or stopwatch

  • (Optional) Prizes for winners

Setup

  • Separate the Easter eggs into top and bottom halves.

  • Scatter a pile of halves in the center of the play area or give each player their own pile.

  • Make sure each player has a flat surface to stack on.

How to Play

  • Start the Timer – Set a 60-second timer (or your preferred time limit).

  • Stack the Egg Halves – Players must stack the egg halves on top of one another in a single column.

  • No Support Allowed – Players may only use one hand and no outside materials to stabilize their stack.

  • If the Stack Falls – Players can rebuild but only during their remaining time.

  • Announce Time – When time is up, everyone stops stacking.

  • Count the Tallest Tower – The tallest standing stack wins!

Say Something Like
"Alright everyone! You’ve got 60 seconds to build the tallest tower you can using just these Easter egg halves. Steady hands and quick thinking will win the day. Ready, set... GO!"

Variations

  • One-Hand Challenge – Players can only use their non-dominant hand.

  • Team Relay – Players work in pairs, switching off every 10 seconds.

  • Wobbly Base Mode – Add a paper plate as a base to increase difficulty.

Teaching Points
This game highlights the importance of focus and building carefully—a perfect lead-in to a lesson on spiritual foundations (Matthew 7:24-27).
