Gameplay

  • 5+ Players 👥

  • 5-8 Minutes ⏱️

What You’ll Need

  • Nothing! Just a group of players and your imagination.

Setup

  • Gather everyone in a circle or a line.

  • Choose someone to start and decide which direction you’ll go (clockwise or counterclockwise).

How to Play

  • Start with an adjective and name. The first player says their name with an alliterative adjective.
    Example: “Dizzy Dolores”

  • Next player repeats and adds. The second player repeats the previous player’s adjective-name combo, then adds their own.
    Example: “Dizzy Dolores, Amazing Alex”

  • Keep the chain going. Each new player recites all the previous names in order and adds their own.
Example: “Dizzy Dolores, Amazing Alex, Sleepy Sarah”

  • Stumble and you're out! If a player forgets a name or says them out of order, they’re out—or just start over laughing and keep the fun going!

  • Last player standing wins if you want a competitive element—or just play until everyone’s brain is too twisted to continue.

Say Something Like
“Let’s put your brains to the test—and your tongues! We’re going to build a chain of hilarious names. But each one has to start with the same letter as your first name. Try to remember everyone before you… the list gets longer and sillier!”

Variations

  • Themed Twist: Everyone must use adjectives related to a specific theme (emotions, food, superheroes, etc.).

  • Speed Round: Give each player only 5 seconds to answer or they’re out.

  • Reverse Round: Start from the last person and go backward in order!

Discipleship Teaching Points
Great for remembering names and building unity. Reinforces the value of each person in the group. (1 Corinthians 12:12 – "For as the body is one, and hath many members...")

Secular Teaching Points
Boosts memory, listening skills, and quick thinking. Encourages creativity and name recognition in fun group settings.
