Gameplay

  • 15+ Players 👥

  • 3-5 Minutes ⏱️

What You’ll Need

Setup

  • Have everyone stand up in the play area or their seats if in a crowd.

  • Give each participant a moment to choose a number between 1 and 6 and hold that number of fingers up.

  • Place both dice at the back of the crowd ready to start.

How to Play

  • Start the roll: Have players at the back of the crowd toss or hit the dice forward toward the stage or front area.

  • Keep it moving: Encourage everyone to bat or bounce the dice toward the front without letting them drop or stop.

  • Announce the results: When both dice land at the front, call out the numbers showing on top.

  • Eliminate matches: Anyone holding up that number of fingers is out and sits down.

  • Keep rolling: Send the dice back to the start and repeat the process.

  • Final round: Keep playing until one person remains standing — they’re the Dice Knockout Champion!

Say Something Like
“Alright everyone, pick your lucky number between 1 and 6 and hold it high! The dice are coming your way — keep them moving to the front! When they land, if your number shows up… you’re out! Let’s see who luck favors tonight!”

Variations

  • Triple Trouble: Use 3 dice for extra chaos!

  • Safe Zone: Allow players one “free life” before they’re officially out.

Discipleship Teaching Points

Just like in this game, life can feel random and uncertain — but our God isn’t ruled by chance. He’s in control of every outcome.

“The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.”Proverbs 16:33 (KJV)

Secular Teaching Points

This game reminds players that even when things seem out of their control, how they respond — with good sportsmanship, energy, and fun — matters more than the result.
