Gameplay
6+ Players 👥
3-5 Minutes ⏱️
What You’ll Need
Cotton balls (a bag or two)
2 bowls per team (one full of cotton balls, one empty)
Spoons (1 per team)
Setup
Place a bowl full of cotton balls at one end and an empty bowl at the other end for each team.
Have a spoon and blindfold ready for the first player on each team.
How to Play
Blindfold the player: Place a blindfold on the first player of each team.
Scoop and transfer: Give them a spoon and have them scoop cotton balls from the full bowl.
Carry carefully: They must walk across to the empty bowl and drop their cotton balls in without touching them.
Pass the turn: Once they return, they remove the blindfold and pass it to the next player.
Keep going: Continue until all players have gone.
Count the results: The team with the most cotton balls successfully transferred wins!
Say Something Like
“Alright everyone, time to test your skill! Can you scoop up cotton balls while blindfolded and get them across without losing them? Let’s find out!”
Variations
Speed Round: Time each team for 2 minutes and see how many they can transfer.
Reverse Relay: Make players walk backwards to the empty bowl for an extra challenge.
Discipleship Teaching Points
Just like we can’t always see where we’re going, faith requires us to trust God’s direction even when the path isn’t clear (2 Corinthians 5:7).
Secular Teaching Points
Highlights teamwork, patience, and careful coordination.
