2+ Players 👥
2-4 Minutes ⏱️
1 cookie per player (Oreos or similar flat cookies work best)
A flat indoor space with chairs or floor seating
Towels or wipes for messy faces (optional)
Have all players sit in a chair or on the floor, leaning their heads slightly back.
Place a cookie on the center of each player’s forehead.
Explain the challenge: Players must use only their facial muscles to move the cookie into their mouth—no hands allowed!
Give the signal: Say, “3… 2… 1… GO!” to start the race.
Let the chaos unfold: Players wiggle their faces, tilt their heads, and make silly expressions to get the cookie to slide down.
Celebrate the win: The first person to successfully get the whole cookie in their mouth wins.
Repeat rounds: Play multiple rounds or keep going just for fun and laughter.
Say Something Like
“Alright, cookie warriors! No hands allowed. You’ve got to get that cookie from your forehead to your mouth using nothing but your face. First one to chomp down on it wins! Ready, set… go wiggle those faces!”
Variations
Team Relay: One player from each team races at a time. When they finish, the next teammate goes. First team to finish wins!
Timed Round: Set a 60-second timer and award a point to everyone who gets the cookie in their mouth in time.
Discipleship Teaching Points
This silly challenge reminds us that sometimes life calls for persistence even when the goal feels out of reach. Galatians 6:9 says, “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Keep going, even when things get messy!
Secular Teaching Points
This game builds perseverance and coordination while promoting confidence and laughter in front of others. Great for team-building and helping students feel more comfortable stepping out of their comfort zone.
