Gameplay
8+ Players 👥
5-8 Minutes ⏱️
What You’ll Need
Blindfolds (one per player going through the course)
Cones, chairs, boxes, or other items to create obstacles
Open space to set up a course
Setup
Create a course using available obstacles in an open area.
Divide players into pairs: one will be blindfolded; the other will be the guide.
Mark the start and finish lines clearly.
Ensure safety by spreading out the obstacles and removing any hazards.
How to Play
Blindfold the player: Have one player put on the blindfold.
Guide with words only: Their partner must direct them through the course using only verbal instructions (no touching allowed).
Use teamwork: The goal is to make it through the course without touching any obstacles.
Switch roles: Once complete, have players switch roles so everyone gets a turn being blindfolded.
Race in teams (optional): You can time each team and make it a competition for fastest completion without penalties.
Add penalties (optional): Touching an obstacle adds a 5-second penalty to the team’s time.
Say Something Like
“Alright everyone! It’s time to test your trust and listening skills. One of you will be blindfolded and your partner will be your eyes—using only their voice. Can you make it through the course without bumping into anything?”
Variations
Silent Signals: Allow only claps, snaps, or non-verbal sounds for direction.
Obstacle Puzzle: Add a challenge like collecting scattered objects during the course.
Tag Team Course: Players must tag the next teammate after finishing their section.
